2-Minute Reading
Wanpy recently participated in Interpets Tokyo 2026, one of Japan’s most influential pet lifestyle exhibitions, held in Tokyo from April 2 to 5. The event offered Wanpy an opportunity to connect directly with Japanese pet families, industry professionals, and retail partners while gaining deeper insight into local feeding habits and evolving nutrition preferences.
Understanding the Shift Toward Simpler, Everyday Nutrition
At Interpets Tokyo 2026, Wanpy focused on one key topic: how treats and daily feeding products can create more enjoyable and comfortable moments between pets and their owners.
In Japan, pet owners often pay close attention not only to nutrition itself, but also to texture, portion size, aroma, and the emotional experience of feeding. Products that feel gentle, convenient, and easy for pets to enjoy during everyday routines are becoming increasingly important.
To reflect these preferences, Wanpy presented a range of products designed around soft textures, balanced recipes, and clean ingredient concepts, including offerings made without preservatives or artificial colorants.

Rather than focusing only on functional claims, Wanpy aimed to showcase how thoughtful product design can naturally fit into the small but meaningful feeding moments shared every day between pets and their families.
Listening Directly to Japanese Pet Owners

One of the most interactive parts of the exhibition was Wanpy’s QR-code digital survey campaign, which encouraged visitors to share their perspectives on feeding habits, favorite snack types, purchasing considerations, and pet preferences.
Hundreds of attendees participated during the exhibition, providing valuable local insights into how Japanese consumers approach pet care and reward-based feeding.

Visitors who joined the campaign also received samples of Wanpy’s featured products, including Tasty Meat Paste for Cat and Meat in Jelly for Dog. Many pet owners responded positively to the products’ smooth texture, feeding convenience, and suitability for daily interaction with pets.
For Wanpy, these direct conversations with consumers are an important way to better understand local lifestyles and continue improving products based on real feeding experiences.
Building Closer Connections with the Japanese Market
Interpets Tokyo 2026 also marked another step in Wanpy’s continued expansion within the Japanese pet market.
As pet ownership lifestyles continue to diversify in Japan, Wanpy hopes to provide products that support different daily feeding scenarios — from interactive treats and snack rewards to easy-to-enjoy nutrition for pets of different ages and preferences.
By combining global product development experience with a deeper understanding of local consumer habits, Wanpy continues working toward products that feel approachable, reliable, and enjoyable for modern pet families.
